I have been using a Nikon D for the past couple of months. I got it for with an mm afs vr lens included. I would highly recommend it to any first time DSLR user. Another good one would be the D or Dx also Nikons but you should get the best one you can afford. Also think about what lenses you want to use. I also bought the mm afs vr With any of the bodies I just mentioned you will need lenses that have an auto focus motor in them.brbrHope this helps
