The D isnt much different than the Dx other than it has a few more features, and the Dx isnt much different than the D, it just comes with a few more pixels the sensor comes from the D, a slightly faster frame rate, a much slower maximum flash shutter speed sync and a whopping price increase. brbrSave your money and get the D. Thats what I did. It costs around and comes with a pretty nice mm lens.The same lens that comes with the Dx brbrAnd with the money you save from buying the D, you can invest it on another lens Nikkor mm VR lens or an external flash Nikon SB or Nikon SBbrbrThe megapixel difference wont make much of a difference in picture quality, unless you plan on printing and enlarging your photographs.brbrHope this helps.

Both are very basic little PampSs just like all the others around that price range.brbrThey all have limitations especially shutter lag and low light issues, their sensors are TINY and you can therefore not expect any amazing quality from any of them.brbrCameras that dont offer manual controls mean youre at the mercy of the cameras decisions. When the light situation is perfect, the Auto functions do a pretty good job, but you dont have much room for creativity nor the ability to overcome any difficult lighting situations.brbrSome of their limitations can be improved by learning a bit about photography.brRead the manual several times, attend a class, borrow some books and look online for tutorials.brI can guarantee you that some knowledge will help you make the most of your camera, since the quality of the results has a lot more to do with the photographer than with the camera.brbrA good photographer can coax some pretty wonderful images out of even the most basic camera at least while the light is good, whereas even the very best camera can be useless in the wrong hands. brbrHowever, with a cheap toy category camera like those ones, you will HATE the shutter lag. Little kids dont hold still to wait for your camera to wake up and do its thing.... be aware that you will miss many shots because of it.

.Take my comments below as someone who loves a good debate and certainly not an attack on anyones opinion. A difference of opinion yes an attack no. A good debate can only help us learn and help the originator of the question to clearly hear both sides and therefore get a better answer both my feelings on this as well as those oposing mine are opinions based on our experiences. brbr Autofocus is nice to have but not a gotta have. Yes it can make things easier sometimes but do people really think no action shots were ever taken in photography before there was autofocus. Did all those wonderful shots taken in war zone by photojournalist or on sports frields and at the olympics only start occuring in the last few years ? brbrYou can learn and many have learned to focus manually and use it with excellent results on action shots. If you want a split prism viewfinder you can get one for your D from katzeye but you can also use the digital rangefinder turn the barrel of the lens while looking through the viewfinder and when the little light at the bottom of your viewfinder lights up you are in focus, its really not harder to see a light then to line up a split image prism in a camera. I have done both. And the turning of the lens barrel is identical whether you are looking for the light or watching the split ring. In fact on older zooms we has some that were push pull zoom turn focus and watch the viewfinder so you might even have been pulling and turning and watching all at once yes when taking an action shot Most people that are naysayers of manual focus either do not really want to learn or never gave it a fair shot. I have shot sports football , basketball and martial arts , auto racing, and wildlife manually focusing and using AF . I have used panning techniques both with AF and without. Yes its a learned skill but most things in photography are. Yes AF is easier and at times very very convenient. I cannot and willnot argue that. But AF can also be fooled and focus on the wrong area depending on how you have the focus point set or what focus point aquires first. Its not a panacea. and an argument can be made that phase change autofocus used in dSLR is not accurate. That is mostly true. The new ipod video is touch screen and just like the iphone just without the calling. It does include wifi though. They gb starts at and the gb at . The ipod nano is also compatible with vidoes now and comes in different color. Then nanos start at for the gb. Netflix on Xbox not working?
All of a sudden when I tried to view a tv show on netflix on the it would say loading and checking connection for awhile and have the swirling little icon thing that means it loading and normally after this happens the little bar would come up and when it was filled the video would start. Now however after awhile of the swirling loading thing and the checking connection thing it just goes back to the screen I was just on with the view seasonepisodes options. This isnt my first time using netflix on and it suddenly started doing this just now.

This is the first time Ive ever had a problem streaming Netflix. I was in the middle of watching a show when I accidentally hit the B button on my controller so it went back to the episode page. I pressed quotresumequot and the loading page displayed as usual but then it just went back to the episode page again. I tried watching other episodes, other movies and TV shows... nothing. I even turned my xbox off for a few mins. Everytime it loads it just goes back to the episode page.

Ive dealt with this before. It just sorta tries to load it then it goes away. What I did is that I exited out as usual to the dashboard, turned off my Xbox, counted to and turned it back on, then it worked. If you turned it off for a few mins, it should have worked. If it doesnt it might be a connection or problem with Netflix. Hope this helps.

I think Netflix is undergoing maintenance. Just try to get back on in an hour or two. EDIT As an update, Netflix is working for me, I think that this may just be a problem for people on the east coast.
