Nikon or Canon Cameras?

Question

Nikon or Canon Cameras?
So, im thinking about going to school and starting a career in professional photography. My favorite brand of cameras aside from the old school Pentax are Nikon and Cannon. Which in your opinion is better?

Answer

The first thing you need to do is find out what kind of camera you will need for school.brbrDo you need a mm SLR and a standard zoom lens?brbrDo you need a x view camera?brbrDo you need a dSLR a step above the entry level cameras ,?brbrIf you need a dSLR, look at the Nikon D or Canon D the Canon D out performs the Dbrbrhttpwww.dxomark.comindex.phpenCameabrbrIf you need a mm SLR, look at a good used Nikon or Canon that is less than years old.brbrIf you need a x view camera, you may be able to buy one from a graduating studentbrbrAs far as which camera system is best, that has to do more with your intended future use, after schoolbrbrIf you are planing on shooting under low light conditions, at this time the best camera for shooting under those situations is the Nikon Ds. That means you would want to buy some kind of Nikon camera and start building your system while in school so when you finish, you will be well on your way to having a system you can put to work as a pro.brbrYou need to first determine what you need for schoolbrbrTo choose the camera system, you will have to go into a comera store and see which of the two brands suit your style of shooting and which has the easiest menu for you to navigate when making the most common changes in the cameras settings, Shooting mode, EV, ISO and White balancebrbrNikon and Canon are good choices, so you cannot really go wrong buying either. Both have a large number of lenses available, each have over different lenses from super wide angle to telephoto with specialty lenses like fisheye, macro and perspective control.
