yeah so I want to get a cell phone but I dont want to deal with a year contract.In your opinion what is a good company I could go with.do you get a good amount of minutes for your money?how is the reception?are you pleased with your cell phone company?

It depend on alot of things one where do you live. You should talk to some of your neighbor to see what they are using. Compare, ask different people who live close to you, that have different carriers how their service is inside the homes and out. Second look at the people you call the most, what do they have, by going with a carrier that the biggest majority of the people you are going to call have you can save on minutes because of plan include unlimited mobiletomobile. Second get a good phone, most people dont realize that their phone is there biggest problem. Different phone can get recpetion better depending on the wattage the antenna is. Example a watt antenna will pick up a stronger signal the a watt. Also dont be afair to asking the sales person how many towers they have in your area, they have a way of looking it up. Also ask how many customer they have in the area as well. One tower can handle about calls at one time. Thats one reason why you get drop calls becasue the tower quotbandwidthquot is starting to get full. Every carrier has its ups and downs with regards to reception, some will be better in some areas then other. But one carrier is not better then the others. You need to find the carrier that fits you need. For me its Nextel, I like the WalkieTalkie feature which I use a lot with my family and friend who also have Nextel.
